Title: Senior Program Manager (Remote)
Duration: 6+ Months

Initial 1 week onsite at Springfield, IL - Cost will be reimbursed by divihn
 
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with 7.5 hours per day.

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to work closely with program leadership to manage and support the ServiceNow program and ongoing business transformation initiatives.

This role will focus primarily on program management (approximately 75%), with the remaining 25% focused on Product Owner responsibilities. The individual will help reinforce and advance the business transformation already underway, while supporting the continued implementation and adoption of the new operational model.

The role will work closely with business, technical, and leadership stakeholders to drive program activities, manage priorities, and ensure successful execution. Over time, the individual will also take on Product Owner responsibilities related to requirements, prioritization, roadmap, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with program leadership to manage and coordinate the ServiceNow program.
  • Lead program activities from planning through implementation and ongoing execution.
  • Support and reinforce the business transformation initiatives already underway.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of the new operational model.
  • Coordinate with business, technical, and leadership stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Manage program schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate meetings, track action items, and provide regular program status updates.
  • Identify and address program risks, challenges, and potential roadblocks.
  • Maintain program documentation, reports, dashboards, and other required deliverables.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into actionable priorities.
  • As part of the Product Owner responsibilities, support product roadmap development, backlog prioritization, requirements, and delivery planning.
  • Help bridge business needs and technical capabilities within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Promote process improvements, effective communication, and alignment across teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project and program management.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional programs from planning through implementation.
  • Strong experience in program governance, risk management, issue resolution, and dependency management.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience supporting business transformation, organizational change, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working with business and technical teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow (Snow) is a plus.
  • Experience with Product Owner responsibilities, Agile delivery, requirements management, or backlog prioritization is a plus.
