Job description

Salary: $55,000-$70,000

Position Title: Grant Manager

Department: Donor Advancement

Reports to: Communications Director

This position is: Full-Time; Remote; Exempt; Support Raised


The Grant Manager will lead the full grant life-cycle, including research, proposal development, submission, reporting, and renewals.

This position advances Launch Globals mission through compelling communication and effective grant stewardship. The role aligns organizational priorities with strategic funding opportunities that support long-term ministry impact and growth.

By combining clear, compelling storytelling with strong grant management, this position strengthens organizational sustainability and equips leadership with insights to help guide future funding strategies in support of our mission.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

OVERVIEW

  • Grant Program Management: Lead the full grant life-cycle, including research, proposal development, submission, reporting, and renewals.
  • Content Development: Write persuasive, data-informed grant proposals, LOIs, and related communications.
  • Telling Our Story: Ensure all communicationsespecially grant submissions and correspondenceare clear, consistent, and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate across teams and divisions to gather data, track deadlines, and align messaging.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with funding partners, providing timely updates and reports.
  • Risk & Compliance: Ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong stewardship across all grant efforts.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of grant opportunities, submissions, deadlines, and reporting requirements.

This role also contributes written content across digital and print platforms, and actively engages prospective funding organizations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred: Bachelors degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of nonprofit grant writing or major donor communication experience.
  • Experience working on a communications and/or development team.


ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Participation in the monthly Day of Prayer and Evaluation (DOPE).
