You will collaborate closely with educational institutions to address the mental health needs of children and adolescents. The role requires proficient use of digital platforms for therapy sessions and case management, ensuring that services are accessible and effective.

• Administer psychoeducational and process-oriented therapy groups tailored to the needs of student populations.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support students' emotional and psychological health.
• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to gauge students' needs and create detailed treatment plans.
• Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission for all patients, ensuring a smooth transition out of services.
• Engage in communication with the Utilization Review Department and Business Department regarding authorization and payment issues.
• Facilitate family involvement by completing discharge sessions with patients to ensure understanding of coping skills, transition plans, and available resources.
• Confirm discharge appointments with students and their families prior to discharging from services, emphasizing the importance of follow-up care.
• Establish and maintain communication with referral sources, outpatient providers, and school personnel to ensure continuity of care from admission and throughout treatment.

This role primarily targets school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. As an LCSW, you will work collaboratively with educators and parents to identify and address these challenges proactively, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive both academically and personally.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active California state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to complete and submit documentation of services and other required paperwork in a timely manner.

• Previous experience working in a school environment or with adolescent populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms to facilitate efficient service delivery.
• Experience in providing crisis intervention and support to youth in a group therapy setting.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
