Receptionist, Ministry Support

This is a Temporary Contract (approximately 9-12 months) covering for a Maternity Leave


Job Purpose

The Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact for everyone who visits the church office. The primary role is to answer phone calls and attend to guests when they come into our office. They will also provide office and administrative support across the organization.


Main Responsibilities

  • Receive calls and walk-ins to the church office
  • Maintain key log for visitors
  • Submit stationery orders
  • Manage the Facilities and Pastor on Call process
  • Preserve data base (Rock RMS) integrity
  • Assist with organizational record keeping
  • Collaborate across all ministry areas to offer administration support
  • Work with the rest of the Ministry Support Team on department projects
  • Attend staff meetings and chapels
  • Member of the Administrative Team
  • Assist the Office Manager with administrative tasks and projects, as necessary


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • One to two years of reception and administration experience would be considered an asset
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
  • Proven competencies in Love for Jesus, Communication and Conflict Resolution
