Job description

Job Title: Epic Radiant Analyst
Location: Houston, TX
Job Type: Contract


Position Overview

A leading hospital is seeking an experienced Epic Radiant Analyst to support radiology systems and imaging workflows within a healthcare environment. This role focuses on the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of radiology applications, including imaging orders, scheduling, and PACS integrations. The analyst will collaborate with radiologists, imaging staff, and IT teams to ensure efficient and accurate diagnostic imaging operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, build, and maintain Epic Radiant modules
  • Support radiology workflows, including imaging orders, scheduling, and results management
  • Manage and support integrations with PACS and other imaging systems
  • Collaborate with radiology staff and IT teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
  • Perform system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Troubleshoot system issues and workflow inefficiencies
  • Assist with system upgrades, optimizations, and go-live support
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and imaging standards
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and workflows
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end users

Required Qualifications
  • Epic Radiant Certification (required)
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Epic Radiant or radiology systems
  • Strong understanding of radiology workflows, imaging processes, and scheduling
  • Experience with PACS integrations and imaging system interfaces
  • Hands-on experience with system build, configuration, and testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in hospital or large healthcare environments
  • Familiarity with radiology standards and regulatory requirements
  • Experience supporting Epic upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives
