Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and skilled X-Ray Technician for a full-time travel role within the New York City metropolitan area, as well as Southern New York and Northern New Jersey. This position requires traveling to designated clinical sites to conduct high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and adherence to all regulations set forth by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and the New Jersey Department of Health. If you hold a license from another state, we will assist you in obtaining your NY and/or NJ license.
Main Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic X-ray examinations following physician directives and established protocols.
Maintain high standards of radiation safety and image quality.
Set up, operate, and maintain X-ray equipment in accordance with NY/NJ regulations.
Accurately record procedures and patient data in electronic medical records.
Comply with all state, federal, and facility regulations regarding radiology and patient care.
Travel to assigned locations across NY and/or NJ as per the schedule.
Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to enhance patient care efficiency.
Qualifications
Valid Radiologic Technologist License (from any state; assistance provided for obtaining NY and/or NJ license).
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred.
