We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to write flight software code for sensors and spacecraft payloads using C++, C, and Python. You will also implement containerized and CI/CD processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to build mission-critical space and aerospace systems where your code directly supports real-world missions.

• Develop and write flight software code for sensors and spacecraft payloads using C++, C, and Python.
• Implement containerized applications and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to integrate software with embedded systems.
• Solve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
• Ensure high-reliability software for operational aerospace platforms.

• Proficiency in embedded software development with C++, C, and Python.
• Experience with Linux-based embedded systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Hands-on experience with embedded systems in any domain, with a preference for space flight.

• Knowledge of Python for scripting and processing during build and deployment.
• Experience with AMD64 for OBC and microcontrollers.
• Understanding of space embedded work, including efficient coding for smaller, lighter computers with slower processors.

This position requires on-site work. You will be part of a team developing cutting-edge embedded and front-end technologies in a collaborative environment. The focus is on high-reliability software, continuous innovation, and making a tangible impact in the aerospace industry.

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, CO.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
