Job Title: Python Game Developer (Panda3D)
Job Type: Contract
Location: Remote
Job Summary: In this position, you will utilize your expertise to assist in training the next generation of AI systems. Your contributions will influence how models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world input. No previous experience in AI is necessary-your domain knowledge is what counts.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, develop, and enhance 3D game simulations and environments utilizing Panda3D for AI training purposes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to convert requirements into effective technical implementations.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Python and C++ codebases integrated with the Panda3D engine.
• Participate in version control processes using GitHub to facilitate seamless team collaboration.
• Guarantee cross-platform compatibility and optimal performance across various hardware setups.
• Clearly document architectural choices, code, and workflows to support team development efforts.
• Engage actively in code reviews, brainstorming, and team discussions, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Verified hands-on experience specifically with Panda3D development; expertise with other engines is not a substitute.
• Advanced knowledge of Python and C++ programming languages.
• Proficiency in GitHub for source code management, including branching and pull request workflows.
• In-depth understanding of 3D graphics pipelines, simulation mechanics, and development across multiple platforms.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; precise documentation and effective collaboration are essential.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines with limited supervision.
