Project Coordinator / 100% Remote / (3 Month Contract)

This role offers the opportunity to help shape and refine internal business tools and processes while supporting high-visibility initiatives that drive operational efficiencies and improve organizational effectiveness. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring project dependencies, workstreams, and stakeholders remain aligned throughout execution.Overview
  • We are seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support multiple proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and pilot projects focused on evaluating new technologies and solutions before enterprise-wide adoption.
  • This role will serve as a key liaison between vendors, business stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), testers, and project teams to ensure seamless coordination, accurate tracking, and successful project execution.
Position Summary
  • The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in managing project execution activities, coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups, tracking feedback and work items, maintaining project documentation, and providing status updates on project progress, risks, and blockers.
  • This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing structure, visibility, and accountability to complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities across vendors, SMEs, testers, business partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and maintain project momentum throughout execution phases.
  • Track, document, and follow up on bugs, issues, enhancement requests, and testing feedback to ensure timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Maintain synchronization between Azure DevOps (ADO) work items and Excel-based tracking tools used by vendors and testing teams.
  • Monitor project progress, dependencies, risks, and blockers, providing regular status reporting to project stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support execution and administration of proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs.
  • Ensure project data, action items, and workstreams remain current, accurate, and aligned across teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience working in a banking, credit union, or financial services environment.
  • Strong project coordination experience supporting multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage work items, project tracking, bugs, and enhancement requests.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project tracking tools.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and status reporting skills.
  • Ability to identify, track, and communicate project risks, issues, and blockers.
  • Experience supporting proof-of-concept initiatives, pilots, technology deployments, or enterprise transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and software development environments.
  • Experience working with vendors and external partners.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
