LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a one of our clients located in Sacramento, California looking to fill a Staff Accountant job. The job is 100% in-office! The right candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant with a solid focus on the accounts payable. The role will be responsible for handling the day to day accounts payable and the daily general ledger accounting functions including journal entries, account and bank reconciliations, assisting with the month-end close, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications for the job include: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred - Strong accounts payable experience - Solid general accounting and GAAP principles (reconciliations & journal entries) - Attention to detail, problem-solver, and analytical - Excellent communications skills written & verbal and a team player - Software experience with a medium to large ERP would be a plus - Proficient Excel skills - Intermediate/Advanced Experience: 2 years of accounting experience (Staff Accountant, Property Accountant, Account Payable Accountant) Employment Type: Temporary (Min. 6 Months) If you are interested in this or other job opportunities available through LHH Recruitment Solutions, please submit your resume today at www.LHH.com !
