JOB SUMMARY
This position is temporary seasonal
The Customer Service Associate acts as an associate level liaison between team members, customers, sales, and manufacturing departments. Responsible for meeting or exceeding their production and fulfillment related requirements while developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. Administers the production coordination function which may also include other related functions such as order entry and planning.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the sales representative with all internal responsibilities, which include.
  • Write up request for estimate form or print out estimate from job ticket and submit for Pricing.
  • Write up "Was - is" estimate form.
  • Contact customers with pricing, as well as any issues and /or status of their job.
  • Enter jobs into the system
  • Create Ink request cards
  • Place the job into Prepress
  • Request all paper stock cards in the system
  • Create any Purchase Orders for outside vendors related to the project.
  • Write up any items needed to be purchased for the job
  • Send proofs to the customer or give them to the sales rep to deliver.
  • Maintain contact with outside vendor(s)
  • Communicate with Supervisors on the status of your jobs
  • Communicate with Shipping department
  • All other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Some college required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience, preferred in the Print industry.
  • Requires of color vision.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Direct Mail and USPS requirements in commercial printing.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong understanding of the Printing industry - print process/how it operates; product flow and supply chain logistics as they relate to printing production.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, project management and problems solving skills.
