What is a temporary production worker?

Temporary production workers are employees hired for a limited period to assist with manufacturing or assembly tasks, often during peak production times or to cover staff shortages. They typically work on a contract or through staffing agencies and may perform a variety of duties such as operating machinery, assembling products, packaging goods, or maintaining equipment.
