Job description

Overview
The postdoctoral fellowship is a temporary period of mentored or supervised training to acquire skills to be a full-fledged child psychologist in Illinois. Supervision will be done by a licensed clinical psychologist for one year and will consist of three hours per week of face to face supervision. The postdoctoral supervision is required for the provider to solidify core child competencies in psychological assessment, psychotherapy delivery, professionalism, evidence-based practices, and supervision. It will also allow the psychologist to be mentored in the culture of Carle Foundation Hospital. Special opportunities exist for advanced supervision in psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral approaches to child treatment and participation in a multidisciplinary Child Diagnostic Clinic.

The compensation for this position is $26/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
