What is a temporary post office?

A Temporary Post Office is a postal facility set up for a limited period, often to serve special events, exhibitions, fairs, or areas with sudden increases in mail demand. These post offices offer many of the same services as permanent locations, such as mail posting, parcel handling, and sometimes even commemorative stamps. Temporary Post Offices help ensure efficient mail service during peak times or at venues where a permanent facility isn't feasible. They are usually staffed by trained postal employees and are often advertised in advance to inform the community.
