The Opportunity 
Investment Management is looking for an intellectually curious individual with strong analytical skills to join the Investment Reporting team as an Investment Reporting Analyst. This role will support reporting for the General Investment Account (GIA), and will partner with teams across Investment Management, Corporate Finance, Enterprise Risk Management, and external asset managers.
 
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, results driven, and has strong analytical and writing skills. Successful candidates can easily adapt to changing priorities, manage time across multiple deliverables, and are comfortable discussing investment topics with teams across the organization.
 
The Team
The Investment Reporting team is responsible for reporting the GIA's asset allocation and risk exposures in support of the Chief Investment Officer's report backs to the Investment Committee of the Board of Directors, rating agencies, and business units. As our team expands, we are looking for a reporting analyst who enjoys solving complex problems, understands business goals, and manages multiple priorities.
 
The Impact
Provide timely, mostly recurring, investment portfolio reporting and analysis for the Investment Committee of the Board of Directors, external rating agencies, the Portfolio Management team, and other business and corporate units
Understand and communicate the portfolio's asset allocation
Ensure efficient and accurate reporting of the GIA by implementing and monitoring data quality controls
Partner with the Investment Data Integrity team to help address data issues and implement data ecosystem enhancements
Maintain high standards of data integrity and transparency across all internal and external reports
 
The Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 3 years of experience reporting financial data
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Experience using business intelligence software such as MicroStrategy and/or Alteryx
 
The Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, economics, accounting or related field
Basic understanding of various types of investment instruments and statutory accounting
Ability to manage multiple, often competing, fixed deadlines
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
Proclivity for continuous improvement
Excellent analytical skills and relentless attention to detail
Strong work ethic and ability to research, identify, and troubleshoot problems independently
Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills; able to relate to and build strong relationships with diverse internal and external audiences/constituencies
