Both roles involve working in plastics manufacturing environments but differ mainly in employment duration and job stability.

Why are manufacturing jobs going unfilled?

Manufacturing jobs, including those in plastics manufacturing, often go unfilled due to a skills gap, with many workers lacking the necessary technical training or certifications. Additionally, the physically demanding work, shift schedules, and competition from other industries can make these roles less attractive to job seekers.

Working as a temporary plastics manufacturing worker can be physically demanding due to repetitive tasks, standing for long periods, and handling machinery or materials. It often requires attention to safety protocols and may involve working in a noisy environment, but the difficulty varies depending on the specific role and individual experience.

What is the highest paying job in manufacturing?

In manufacturing, the highest paying roles are often engineering positions such as manufacturing engineers, plant managers, or operations directors, which require technical skills, experience, and sometimes certifications. These roles typically offer higher salaries due to their responsibility for overseeing production processes, optimizing efficiency, and managing teams.
