Job description

Registered Nurse, Circulating (Dallas)

Location: Dallas - Hospital

Additional Posting Details: PRN, 10 hour shifts Monday - Friday 6:45 am - 5:15 pm

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate the nursing care provided for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age, and adolescents
  • Professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, for a designated time frame, and provides quality care to these patients
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Hold current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or is eligible for reciprocity and holds a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners to practice professional nursing
  • 1 or more years of experience as an RN
  • Pediatric nursing experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Must obtain PALS certification within 1 year of employment
  • Demonstrate advanced and mature critical thinking and assessment skills
