Location: Onsite -Casa Grande, AZ

Competitive Compensation: 30.50/hour 
 

Shift: 1st - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday-Friday), Monday - Friday

We are seeking an Engineering Process Technician I to support the manufacturing and engineering team at our Casa Grande facility. This role focuses on improving manufacturing processes, optimizing equipment performance, and enhancing overall operational efficiency. 

This position offers hands-on exposure to real-world engineering and automation challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role will support data analysis, project execution, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive process improvements and operational excellence. 

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities 

  • Temporary position (approximately 2 1/2 months).
  • Career advancement opportunities.
  • Monitor work flow including automation and processes focused on projects related to equipment reliability, process improvement, and cost reduction.
  • Monitor the molding operations to ensure press, workflow, and processes are performing at proper specification levels.
  • Troubleshoot, monitor and track scrap and rework including production times, trends and any issues related to processes. Assist in designing, testing, and modifying mechanical components, systems, or equipment.
  • Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving for equipment or process failures.
  • Develop and update technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and engineering drawings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, production, automation, and quality teams.
  • Assist in capital project tasks such as layout development, vendor coordination, and installation support.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards andcompany policies.

Ready to make a bold impact? Here's the qualifications we are looking for: 

Key Qualifications   
 

  • Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship.  

  • Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.  

  • Must be at least 18 years old.


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing an associates' degree or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 1-2+ years' experience working in manufacturing, automation or project experience in manufacturing/engineering or equivalent education experience is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals with philosophies such as 5S, Kaizen, Poke-a-Yoke, Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma preferred.
  • Basic knowledge or familiarity with Auto Cad, vision systems, and exposure to robotic applications (i.e. - FANUC robotics) preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn in a hands-on environment.
