Job Description
Position Summary:This role supports the finishing process by completing hands-on production tasks that help ensure high-quality, consistent products. The Paint Production team member follows work instructions, inspects their own work for accuracy, keeps equipment and work areas clean and organized, and rotates between finishing tasks to support workflow and reduce repetitive motion.Essential Functions
Additional duties may be assigned as needed:
  • Stain Wiping: Remove stain from the front and back of components quickly and evenly, following the natural grain of the wood.
  • Glazing: Wipe away excess glaze from the surface while allowing glaze to remain in natural door details for a consistent finish.
  • Seal Sanding: Sand components with the wood grain, working from the outside edges inward. Select appropriate sandpaper based on wood type and stain finish.
  • Minor Rework: Repair small defects or imperfections to keep production moving smoothly.
  • Spray Staining: Apply stain using proper spray techniques to achieve an even, quality finish.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to read and follow order forms, work instructions, and product requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job-related questions or concerns
