Job description


We're looking for a hands-on Construction Foreman who enjoys leading crews, driving production, and delivering high-quality commercial construction projects. This individual will oversee daily field operations while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.


The ideal candidate has a strong construction background, understands underground utility and mechanical installation work, and takes pride in developing productive crews while maintaining exceptional workmanship.


Responsibilities

  • Lead daily field operations on commercial construction projects.
  • Supervise field personnel and coordinate subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications before work begins.
  • Coordinate trenching, excavation, underground utilities, piping, and installation activities.
  • Monitor daily production and adjust manpower as project demands change.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and project schedules.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements.
  • Work closely with Project Managers regarding manpower, scheduling, material needs, and project progress.
  • Maintain accurate field reports and daily documentation.
  • Resolve field issues while keeping projects moving efficiently.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • Previous Foreman or field leadership experience.
  • Experience with public works, underground utilities, civil construction, water mains, trenching, or utility installation.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience operating around heavy equipment and coordinating field crews.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced commercial construction environments.
