Travel Operating Room RN – Level I Trauma

Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM
Patient Population: Adults
Charting: Cerner
Orientation: 40 hours
BSN Required: Yes
First-Time Travelers: Not accepted

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a high-volume Level I Trauma surgical department. The ideal candidate has strong circulating experience, trauma expertise, and experience with complex vascular, neurological, orthopedic, liver, and kidney procedures.

Required Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
  • At least 2–3 years of Level I Trauma experience
  • Previous travel experience required
  • Previous Charge Nurse experience required
  • Liver and kidney surgical experience required
  • Strong circulating experience
  • Scrub experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable with complex trauma and surgical cases
Required Credentials
  • Active Pennsylvania or compact RN license at submission
  • Current BLS

  • BSN

Floating

Travelers may float based on facility needs to:

  • GI unit
  • Center One Surgery Center
Local Candidate Policy
  • Candidates residing within 50 miles are considered local
Vaccine Requirements
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not required
