Job description

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care and assistance with daily living activities to clients in their homes under the supervision of licensed or administrative staff. The CNA is a key member of the caregiving team, ensuring clients maintain dignity, safety, and well-being while receiving non-medical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Following CareBuilders at Home policies and procedures

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance.

  • Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation

  • Monitor and document changes in client conditions

  • Document care provided and observations accurately using electronic systems.

  • Uphold residents’ rights and ensure their privacy and dignity in all interactions.

  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy client environment by following universal standards and precautions

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • CNA certification

  • Valid driver's license or reliable transportation

  • Must be able to physically perform the functions of the position (bending, stooping, using hands)

  • Communication skills and carry out instructions

  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English

  • Must pass a background check and TB screening

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
