Temporary Hospice RN - 8-Week Assignment
Locations: All Mountain Valley Locations
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 40 hours/week
Duration: 8 weeks | Start ASAP
Mountain Valley Hospice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a defined, short-term hospice assignment. This role is ideal for an RN who wants meaningful work with a predictable weekday schedule-without weekends, on-call, or a long-term commitment.
Position Highlights
  • $50/hour (non-benefited)
  • Monday-Friday only
  • No weekends. No on-call.
  • Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile
  • 8-week commitment with clear expectations
  • Supportive interdisciplinary team and established workflows
What You'll Do
  • Manage a hospice caseload and provide direct patient care
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and ongoing care planning
  • Provide symptom management, medication administration, and wound care
  • Educate patients and families on disease progression and care needs
  • Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and the hospice team
  • Complete timely, accurate electronic documentation
