Job description

FamilySearch is seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Project Manager to support strategic marketing, product launch, and communication initiatives. This role will drive project planning, execution, reporting, and stakeholder communication across multiple teams and programs, including global marketing campaigns, member communication journeys, and coordinated Church intiatives.
This is a full-time temporary position for 6 months.

Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, data-driven decision making, and proficiency with project management systems, particularly Monday.com.

Church employees find joy and satisfaction in using their unique talents and abilities to further the Lord's work. From the IT professional who develops an app that sends the gospel message worldwide, to the facilities manager who maintains our buildings- giving Church members places to worship, teach, learn, and receive sacred ordinances-our employees seek innovative ways to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. They are literally working in His kingdom.
Only members of the Church who are worthy of a temple recommend qualify for employment. Apart from this, the Church is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in its employment decisions on any basis that would violate U.S. or local law.
Qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, national origin, color, gender, pregnancy, marital status, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or other legally protected categories that apply to the Church. The Church will make reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with known disabilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.

    • Minimum 3 years of project management experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

    • Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.

    • Strong reporting, tracking, and organizational skills with proven attention to detail.

    • Experience creating executive-ready status reports, dashboards, and project updates.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Proficiency with Monday.com as a project management platform.

    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

      Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with marketing performance metrics and campaign reporting, specifically Adobe Analytics.

    • Knowledge of FamilySearch products, services, and messages

Project Planning & Management

  • Lead the planning and coordination of multiple concurrent projects and initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.

  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Coordinate campaign deliverables across email, web, social media, and content channels.

Reporting & Tracking

  • Own project tracking and management processes through Monday.com and other reporting tools.

  • Create and maintain project dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries.

  • Track action items, decisions, dependencies, and deliverable completion across teams.

  • Integrate campaign performance data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Provide regular progress updates and recommendations to stakeholders.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management

  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder alignment sessions.

  • Ensure teams remain informed, aligned, and accountable throughout project lifecycles.
