Camelot Brookside is looking for a Monday - Friday RN Treatment Nurse! Is that you?

We are looking for a RN Treatment Nurse to be a part of our incredible team and who has the same vision.

Our Treatment Nurses provide primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents’ attending physicians, the Director of Nursing Services, or the Medical Director of the facility, with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders. Treatment Nurses also assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility.

Qualifications - Education/Certification
  • Registered Nurse that is licensed and in good standing with the State
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
  • Assess and monitor wounds
  • Debride, clean, and bandage wounds
  • Work with the care team to determine if antibiotics, surgery, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, or other treatments are needed
  • May work in a specialty capacity to care for ostomies, diabetic foot care, and more
  • Educates patients and caretakers on wound care, infection and injury prevention, and pressure ulcer care and prevention for those who are bedridden or have limited mobility
  • Completes proper documentation for Medicare reimbursement and writes orders to promote wound healing and the prevention of skin breakdown
