PRIDE Health is seeking a local contract nurse RN Home Health for a local contract nursing job in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Pride Health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's Home Health Team.

Pay rate: Up to $55.00/ hour (W-2)

Location: Hattiesburg, MS 39402
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | 8-hour shifts

Productivity: 30 points/week
On-Call: 1 night/week + 1 weekend every 4th or 5th weekend; (On Call rate: $3.00/Hour)
Mileage: Reimbursed between patient visits
 

Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled in-home nursing care to Home Health patients. The RN will manage patient care, perform skilled procedures, educate patients and caregivers, and coordinate with the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide home visits and skilled nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, trach care, venipuncture, PEG tube care, ostomy care, and catheter care/changes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medications, and home safety.
  • Communicate with the Home Health office, supervising RN, MD/NP, and care team regarding patient needs.
  • Attend weekly patient care meetings and participate in recertification/discharge planning.
  • Participate in the assigned on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience and competency performing the required skilled nursing procedures.
  • Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.

Preferred

  • Previous Home Health experience.
  • Hospice experience is a plus.

Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs and tennis shoes. Mississippi HomeCare T-shirt may be worn with royal blue scrub bottoms.
