Job Title: Commercial Casework Installer

Job Description

The Commercial Casework Installer will install metal commercial casework and related millwork in new construction projects, including hospitals, laboratories, athletic facilities, and schools throughout the Denver area. This role focuses on precise installation in unoccupied facilities, using a variety of hand and power tools to deliver high-quality, durable finishes in demanding commercial environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install commercial metal casework, cabinets, countertops, and millwork in new construction projects such as hospitals, laboratories, athletic facilities, and schools.
  • Read and follow layout directions to position and secure casework accurately within commercial spaces.
  • Use tools such as laser levels, drills, and impact drivers to ensure precise, level, and secure installations.
  • Perform basic framing, mechanical, and carpentry tasks as needed to support casework and millwork installation.
  • Complete trim work and finishing details to achieve clean, professional results on all installations.
  • Collaborate and coordinate daily work with a team of 4–10 installers and construction professionals on active job sites.
  • Move materials, tools, and casework components around large commercial sites, including transporting items up and down stairs as required.
  • Follow all site safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area throughout each project.
  • Adapt to varying project durations, working efficiently on short-term jobs of 1–2 weeks as well as longer projects of 3 months or more.
  • Inspect completed installations for quality and accuracy, making adjustments and corrections as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in commercial casework and millwork installation.
  • Proficiency installing metal casework, cabinets, countertops, and related millwork in commercial environments.
  • Hands-on experience using laser levels, drills, and impact drivers for precise installation work.
  • Experience in framing, mechanical work, installation, furniture building, or drywall that supports casework installation tasks.
  • Ability to perform carpentry and trim work with attention to detail and quality.
  • Capability to work safely and efficiently on active commercial construction sites.
  • Physical ability to walk long distances on large job sites and navigate stairs while handling tools and materials.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to coordinate tasks within a crew of multiple installers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Healthcare construction experience, particularly in hospital or laboratory environments, is a plus.
  • Experience working on new build commercial projects and understanding of construction site workflows.
  • Comfort working with a variety of commercial casework systems and materials.
  • Ability to interpret basic construction directions and adapt to changing site needs.

Why Work Here?

This opportunity offers the chance to join a company that invests in its employees for the long term, including eligibility for an employee stock ownership program (ESOP) after 36 months of employment. Team members benefit from excellent benefits, detailed in a comprehensive benefits packet, and work in a collaborative, team-based environment on a variety of high-profile commercial projects. The mix of short and longer-term assignments provides both variety and stability, supporting professional growth in the commercial construction and millwork field.

Work Environment

Work takes place on commercial construction sites across the Denver area, primarily in new build hospitals, laboratories, athletic facilities, and schools. All projects are unoccupied, providing a focused installation environment without active facility operations. Most projects last 1–2 weeks, with some extending to 3 months or longer. Installers work in teams of 4–10, collaborating closely to complete casework and millwork installations. The role involves regular use of tools such as laser levels, drills, and impact drivers, as well as handling casework components and materials. Job sites are often large, so team members should be comfortable walking longer distances and going up and down stairs throughout the day. The setting is typical of commercial construction, with an emphasis on safety, productivity, and professional workmanship.
