Position Overview

The Stick/MIG Welder (Fabrication & Welding Technician) is responsible for cutting, fitting, welding, and assembling metal components for custom and production projects. This Stick/MIG Welder (Fabrication & Welding Technician) role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment. The ideal Stick/MIG Welder (Fabrication & Welding Technician) takes pride in quality workmanship and follows all safety standards.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in metal fabrication and welding
• Proficiency with MIG welding (TIG and Stick a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Fabricate metal parts using steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Perform MIG welding (TIG and Stick welding as needed)
• Cut, grind, fit, and finish metal components to specifications
• Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, plasma cutters, grinders, and drill presses
• Ensure weld quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines
