  • Formulate partnership strategy for Shopping & Payments growth priorities with input from relevant stakeholders and create business value propositions based on partner and company needs.
  • Build and utilize internal & external network with a diverse set of stakeholders to identify and validate unique opportunities across business areas. Provide input into recommendations on partners.
  • Position the Microsoft value proposition versus competitors and work with stakeholders to influence the build/buy/partner decision to meet customer needs, leveraging knowledge of Microsoft and customer issues in conjunction with product/industry teams to establish a foundation for future opportunities in competitive situations through collaboration.
  • Provide insight on industry and/or competitive trends and drive action based on insights.
  • Drive deals to increase growth and achieve desired outcomes, anticipating potential issues. Encourage customers and partners to apply and amend a value proposition to create a partnership. Influence internal stakeholders and partners and promote the value of opportunities.
  • Represent Microsoft in key customer and partner interactions, and define the deal structure for scalable and durable solutions to complex business opportunities.
  • Leverage deep understanding of risks, rewards, and negotiation skills to manage broad engagements across all business functions.
  • Provide breakthrough ideas and collaborate to close strategic or high-impact opportunities in order to scale the business (e.g., cross-company, cross-product deals).
  • Provide coaching and support to less experienced colleagues as a go‑to resource for negotiation.
  • Develop plans for managing deals, including communications, and reporting with Microsoft stakeholders. Resolve blocking issues using known techniques.
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and Microsoft colleagues to develop post‑deal governance and ensure design, communication, and alignment in creation and implementation of execution plans across a portfolio of deals within a particular domain.
  • Ensure customers and partners are prepared for implementation.
  • Capture and share learnings to improve future pipeline and business value communication.
  • Embodies our culture and values.
Qualifications
