Sports Performance Specialist- Speed and Agility, Strength & Power, Injury Prevention, Performance Coach

About Redline Athletics Manalapan:

At Redline Athletics, we specialize in performance training for youth athletes, offering cutting-edge programs in Speed and Agility, Strength & Power, and Injury Prevention. Our mission is to develop well-rounded, injury-resistant athletes who are ready to compete at their highest level. We are committed to providing top-tier training in a supportive and motivating environment. We are currently seeking a dynamic Trainer to oversee our youth training programs and help athletes improve their performance while prioritizing safety and proper technique.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and design speed and agility training programs for youth athletes.

Develop strength and power training sessions to enhance athletic performance and injury resistance.

Implement injury prevention strategies and educate athletes on proper movement patterns.

Conduct performance assessments to track progress and tailor individual training plans.

Provide consistent feedback, mentorship, and support to athletes of all skill levels.

Collaborate with the Redline Athletics team to deliver a comprehensive, athlete-centered training approach.

Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in youth athletic development, performance coaching, and injury prevention.

Foster a positive and motivating training environment for youth athletes, ensuring they feel supported and challenged.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Years of experience working with youth athletes in a training or coaching capacity.

In-depth knowledge of speed and agility, strength and power, and injury prevention principles.

Certification in Strength and Conditioning (e.g., CSCS, NSCA) or a similar credential preferred.

Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to connect with young athletes.

Passion for youth athlete development and a commitment to helping others achieve their goals.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in coaching athletes across multiple sports (e.g., soccer, basketball, football, track).

First Aid/CPR certification.

Background in sports nutrition and the ability to offer basic guidance on fueling performance.

Knowledge of sports psychology and mental performance strategies.
