Temporary Administrative Assistant

Touching Hearts at Home provides compassionate non-medical home care services that help older adults remain independent and age in place safely. We are seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support our office team during a busy period.

Position Summary

The Temporary Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to our Human Resources, Scheduling, and Operations teams during a 6–8 weeks assignment. This full-time position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information. The selected candidate must be available to work Monday through Friday on either a 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Monitor and respond to office emails
  • Assist with employee onboarding and personnel file maintenance
  • Enter and update information in company systems
  • Prepare, scan, file, and organize documents
  • Assist with scheduling-related administrative tasks
  • Support training and orientation coordination
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Perform general office and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Administrative office experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Canva is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
