Job description
Adecco is seeking a skilled Machinist in Tempe, AZ to join our team of qualified and diverse professionals. We specialize in the manufacturing of metal and carbon-graphite components for a variety of precision applications. If you thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment and have a passion for machining, we want to hear from you!
Pay- $20-$25 hour (Depending on Experience)
Monday- Thursday 4:30PM-3:00AM
Temp to Perm!
Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate a variety of machine tools including lathes and milling machines
Machine metal and carbon-graphite parts to exacting tolerances and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings
Determine sequence of operations, number of cuts, and method of setup
Use machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments
Perform shop calculations related to dimensions, tooling, feeds, and speeds
Measure, mark, and scribe materials for machining layouts
Fit and assemble precision parts for mechanical equipment
Identify necessary materials, parts, and tools
Operate CNC machines as needed
Requirements:
Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience
Strong knowledge of machining techniques, materials, and tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
Proficient with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Ability to perform standard shop math and measurements

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
