Description

Job Overview:
The Pool Monitor (Part Time/Seasonal Temp) oversees the pool and spa areas to assure the safety of all users, under moderate supervision. They maintain the pool area in compliance with established regulations.
 
Compensation: $19-20/hour 
 
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
 
Schedule: Friday-Sunday 2:00PM-10:30PM
 
Job Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Explain and enforce pool regulations for safety and compliance.
  • Observe pool area to detect hazardous conditions.
  • Complete safety and incident reports, and immediately advise Supervisor of incident and action taken. Advise Supervisor of any hazardous equipment or facility.
  • Remain alert at all times. Walk the facilities on a regular basis to assure the safety of all users and observers.
  • Maintain a pleasant environment for users.
  • Perform such other duties as may be assigned. 
  • Assist with facility rentals
  • Provide checks on cleanliness of the entire facility
  • Provide assistance with community events when needed
 
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Ability to explain and enforce safety rules.
  • Ability to pleasantly and tactfully interact with owners, renters and guests.
  • Ability to follow oral or written directions.

  • Ability to work variable shifts.
  • Ability to come into contact with water and pool chemicals.
