Job description

An established mid-sized plaintiff's firm located in the Denver Tech Center, is seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented litigation paralegal to support a complex caseload. This position will primarily support attorneys in medical malpractice litigation, with opportunities to assist attorneys in other practice areas as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence

  • Conduct legal and factual research; prepare summaries and timelines

  • Support cases from intake through trial

  • Review and organize medical records, discovery, and evidence

  • Obtain medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance

  • Coordinate expert witnesses and Rule 26 disclosures

  • Prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial

  • Track deadlines, court dates, and statutes of limitation

  • Maintain electronic and physical case files

  • Communicate with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel

  • Support multiple attorneys and practice areas

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of medical malpractice or complex civil litigation experience

  • Paralegal certificate, degree, or equivalent experience preferred

  • Knowledge of state/federal court procedures and discovery rules

  • Strong understanding of medical and legal terminology

  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail

  • Experience handling large medical record and discovery productions

  • Proficiency with e-filing, case management, and Microsoft Office
