Both roles require similar credentials and serve similar purposes—filling temporary staffing gaps in hospitals and clinics.

What are the disadvantages of locums work?

Temporary medical doctors often face challenges such as lack of job security and consistent income, as assignments are short-term and may vary in duration. They may also experience difficulties integrating into new teams and adapting to different hospital protocols, which can impact work satisfaction and continuity of care.
