City : Regina State : Saskatchewan (CA-SK) Country : Canada (CA) Requisition Number : 47116

A Day in the Life:

This position is responsible for the timely administration and processing of commercial Canadian grain and crush contracts, ensuring adherence to corporate risk and audit controls. The role also provides backup support to regional buyers, including contract management, pricing customer inquiries, and customer relationship management.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Review and issue contracts with correct terms in coordination with Trade Execution, Merchandisers, and Risk.
  • Process sales and purchase contracts for commercial grain customers.
  • Verify contract confirmations and broker notes, flagging discrepancies and ensuring compliance with trading terms.
  • Prepare and manage export documentation for container and bulk vessel shipments.
  • Coordinate domestic and international courier logistics.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for contracts and grain shipments.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc contract management reports.
  • Support inventory tracking and reporting for overseas elevator stocks, including invoice and payment processing.
  • Assist with invoice coordination and approvals with Trade Execution and Commodity Accounting.

 

Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Finance, Agriculture, or Business; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in export logistics, finance, and documentation within agriculture or financial sectors.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian grain industry is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret contract terms and corporate policies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software tools.
  • Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Skilled at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a diverse industry.
  • Able to manage pressure and meet deadlines.
