What You'll Do

You'll be a talent ambassador and sourcing partner helping us identify and engage exceptional people who elevate our craft and culture.

  • Champion the future of play by identifying and engaging top creative and technical talent across disciplines.
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to understand talent needs, market trends, and hiring priorities.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies that build strong pipelines of diverse, high-quality talent for current and future opportunities.
  • Conduct market mapping, talent research, and outreach campaigns to uncover passive candidates and emerging talent communities.
  • Create thoughtful, personalized candidate engagement strategies that reflect the Wizards brand and values.
  • Build and maintain talent communities and networks across gaming, entertainment, technology, and consumer products industries.
  • Leverage sourcing tools, market insights, and AI-enabled technologies to improve efficiency, outreach effectiveness, and hiring outcomes.
  • Track sourcing activity, pipeline health, and market insights to inform recruiting strategy and business decisions.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first touch through handoff to the recruiting team.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of sourcing or talent acquisition experience in a fast-paced corporate or agency environment.
  • Experience identifying and engaging technical, creative, or hard-to-find talent through proactive sourcing strategies.
  • Strong research and talent mapping skills, with the ability to uncover and engage passive candidates.
  • Familiarity with sourcing platforms, recruiting tools, Boolean search techniques, and talent market intelligence.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
  • A data-driven and organized approach to pipeline management and sourcing performance.
  • Agility and adaptability in a fast-moving environment with evolving hiring priorities.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a passion for finding exceptional talent in innovative ways.
  • An interest in storytelling, brands, games, entertainment, or consumer products, and an appreciation for the power of Wizards IP.

Additional Details:

Please note that this is a temporary assignment providing services to Wizards through an external staffing agency. If you are selected for this assignment, you will be employed by WorkWell as a W2 employee and will not be an employee of Wizards.

  • Employment Type: Contingent Worker
  • Location: Renton, Washington.  
  • Duration: 6 months with the potential to extend to 12 months
  • In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the hourly pay range for this role.
  • Hourly Pay Range: $45-$55/hour
