Job description

Position Title: QA Analyst Temp

Studio/Department: Magic the Gathering Online

Employee Type: Temporary

Location: San Diego, CA/Remote (Daybreak Approved Remote Locations (CA, WA, TX, NY))

Salary Range: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour, pay may vary on location. 

Description

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for testing multiple aspects of Magic the Gathering Online in the QA Department. This position will be responsible for: 

  • Create and execute test plans for upcoming Card Content and Feature releases
  • Collaborate with other analysts and developers to ensure thorough testing
  • Verify changes across multiple environments
  • Identify and test for edge cases outside of expected functionality
  • Advocate for the player experience by giving qualitative feedback
  • Prioritize tasks as they are assigned to QA

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
    • Education High School Graduate or equivalent

    • Working background in Quality Assurance or 1+ years in the gaming industry
    • Working knowledge of the software development process
