Job Description:

Library Collection Management

  • Sort and organize library media including journals, books, and other materials
  • Identify and separate duplicate items within the collection
  • Review materials for online availability and flag items for removal or archiving

Inventory & Resource Management

  • Identify excess or duplicate items suitable for donation
  • Coordinate identification of organizations that may accept donated materials
  • Prepare materials for recycling, donation, or discard

Facilities & Organization

  • Organize and maintain library equipment and shelving components
  • Clean shelving units (dusting, wiping, general upkeep)
  • Assist with moving books, journals, furniture, and equipment
  • Support reorganization and space optimization efforts

General Support

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Assist with special projects related to library operations
  • Work is performed on-site in a library/storage environment
  • Requires standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials and perform physical organizational tasks
  • May involve working in storage or compact shelving areas
Expected Salary:
