Job description

HR Business Partner, Cary Campus
Location: Cary, IL (full-time onsite position)
Reports to: Director, HR Business Partner, Beauty North America
*Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
This position is responsible for partnering with local leadership at the Cary North and McHenry manufacturing locations in the execution of the business strategy and implementation of Aptar HR practices within the sites in accordance with local laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
As an HRBP, You Will:
  • Model of Aptar culture and core values and the local organizational HR Business Partner
  • Deploys the HR strategy within the assigned locations
  • Proactively supports site leadership by providing expertise and guidance on any people-related matters across the employee life cycle
  • Supports additional key local business projects and initiatives from a people perspective
  • Drives and coordinates the application of the overall HR agenda at the site and implements the annual HR calendar, such as salary planning, implementation of annual employee survey, Organizational Effectiveness and Development (OED), performance review, objective setting, talent review, etc.
  • Deploys Aptar HR guidelines and tools developed by the Center of Expertise and Service Delivery and ensures that they meet business needs
  • Ensures compliance with employment related laws and regulations, aligns with business and regional / global HR Business Partners to provide expertise and guidance on personnel matters according to local laws (i.e., disciplinary, terminations, etc.)
  • Liaises with regional and global Center of Expertise (COE) as appropriate:
  • Working with Talent and Learning on strategic people matters such as workforce planning, leadership development, talent acquisition, organization design, change management, succession planning, etc.
  • Collaborating with Talent Acquisition for key recruitment initiatives and employer branding
  • Partnering with Learning & Development to define future training and development needs and providing training to the business sites offered by HORIZON catalogue
  • Delivers staffing solutions, including temporary staff, relying on efficient partnerships with temporary work agencies and leveraging the support of Service Delivery where appropriate
  • Utilizes HR Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to understand level of service offered to business and drive actions as applicable
  • Acts as the employee advocate and change agent; handles conflicts, fosters understanding, advances ideas and inspires trust
  • Involvement in benefits administration activities that require local presence and knowledge

Experience
  • Multiyear HR experience as an HR Business Partner implementing HR policies, procedures, benefits, etc.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $70,0000 - 115,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
