Why We Need Your Talents:

The Surveillance Lead Operator plays a vital role in safeguarding the integrity, security, and smooth operation of Live! Casino & Hotel by closely monitoring activity throughout the property. Your ability to observe, identify, and report potential risks-while supporting the protection of guests, team members, and company assets-directly strengthens the safety and compliance of our gaming environment. As a Lead Operator, you also help guide and develop new team members, ensuring the Surveillance team maintains the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and vigilance. Through your attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to excellence, you contribute significantly to maintaining a fair, secure, and welcoming experience for everyone on property.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Observe all activities of guest and team members on the casino floor, cage, count rooms and other areas for criminal activities and/or violation of the state lottery and gaming commission regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Operate monitor room equipment.
  • Complete proper documentation as needed.
  • Assist in the training and evaluation of Surveillance Operators.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

  • Knowledge of computers and CCTV equipment.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in casino surveillance.
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in a confined space with low lighting.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 30lbs.
  • Must have excellent vision and hearing.
  • Must be able to grasp, handle, and reach with hands and fingers.
  • Must be able to stand and walk 30% of the time.

Working Conditions:

  • 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees
  • Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
  • You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
