Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker for the 2nd shift. This role involves applying endplates, operating banding equipment, and assisting in the loading and unloading of materials. You will play a key role in maintaining our storage systems, tagging materials correctly, and ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of work areas. Participation in the company's safety program and other related duties will also be expected.
Responsibilities
- Apply endplates by hand or machine.
- Operate banding equipment.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and charges.
Essential Skills
- Experience in general labor and production.
- Ability to handle physical labor and operate machinery.
- Proficiency in using hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to keep a well-organized and clean work area.
- Skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting potential issues.
- 6-12 months of consistent work history in construction, farming, or general labor.

Work Environment
You will be working in both outdoor and indoor environments, which can be extremely hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. The work environment may also be smelly and dusty. Typically, you will be working alongside 2 to 3 other people. A specific dress code is required, including a hard hat, vest, glasses, gloves, and uniforms—all provided except for steel-toed boots.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.17 - $24.17/hr.
