Hiring for a Construction General Laborer at the New Titan's Stadium in East Nashville, TN

Job Description

This role supports a large new construction project by performing a wide range of general labor and site cleaning duties. You help maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site by handling material movement, debris removal, and basic housekeeping tasks across the project area.

Responsibilities

• Sweep floors and keep work areas clean and free of debris throughout the job site.
• Pick up trash and construction debris regularly to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
• Vacuum or remove standing water when it rains to help prevent slips, trips, and falls.
• Move construction materials safely and efficiently from one location to another as directed.
• Support general site clean-up, including organizing materials and tools in designated areas.
• Assist with basic construction-related labor tasks as needed on a new construction job site.
• Follow construction safety practices and site rules at all times.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
• Work cooperatively with hoist operators, other laborers, and trades to support daily operations.

Essential Skills

• Experience working as a general laborer on a construction job site, ideally on new construction projects.
• Comfort working on active new construction sites, including around heavy equipment and ongoing trades work.
• Demonstrated ability to perform general clean-up tasks such as sweeping, trash removal, and debris handling.
• Ability to safely move materials from one location to another in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of basic construction safety practices and willingness to follow all safety guidelines.
• Reliability to work early morning shifts and maintain consistent attendance Monday through Friday.
• Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any OSHA or related safety certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience performing general labor duties specifically on new construction job sites is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with working around hoist operations and coordinated site logistics is beneficial.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and willingness to take direction from site leadership.

Work Environment

This position is based on a large new construction stadium project. You work on an active job site alongside hoist operators, general laborers, and various trades. The team includes multiple buck hoist operators and general laborers working together to support site operations. The schedule typically runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM,.

The work is outdoors and in partially completed structures, requiring comfort with changing weather conditions, noise, and a physically demanding environment. Standard construction attire and appropriate personal protective equipment are required at all times to meet site safety standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
