Job description

Line Cook – Resort Kitchen
Location: Ridgedale, MO
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: $16.50 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our resort culinary team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality meals for guests. This role is responsible for preparing menu items according to recipes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are followed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with food prep, portioning, and plating
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
  • Monitor inventory and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor
  • Maintain proper storage and labeling of food products
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or kitchen staff preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and food presentation
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
  • Food handler certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
Schedule
  • Day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
