Your Mission
We are seeking a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented Director of Digital Marketing to lead Nashville's digital marketing team, providing leadership for social media, online advertising, audience and fanbase development, CRM and online activations. You'll need to manage the team, priorities, internal stakeholders and external partners to create opportunities and contribute to digital growth of BMG Nashville. This is a temporary position slotted to last for approximately 6 months.
BMG's Digital Marketing department is an award-winning global team who work at the forefront of artist campaigns, leading the charge with expert insight into social media, audience development, online advertising, CRM, global activations and innovation for marketing. They are interconnected with our marketing, product, streaming and analytics teams and work closely with artists and tech partners. As part of this team, this role temporarily heads up the staff and infrastructure for digital marketing in the Nashville office, looking after frontline recorded signings, primarily in the country space.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Strategic digital marketing leadership for Nashville recorded music.
  • Team leadership and development for a growing team.
  • Social media and connected platform strategy and innovation, including: social gaming, fanclubbing and new tech.
  • With the biz dev team, manage partner relationships across Meta platforms, TikTok, Snapchat, Discord and other connected platforms.
  • Individual campaign successes and holistic territory thinking and planning.
  • CRM, data capture, fan-to-fan, and direct-to-fan marketing, including GDPR and data protection compliance.
  • Website and landing page management including GDPR and data protection compliance.
  • Manage the tools and systems BMG has available for digital marketing.
  • Be the point of escalation for artists, their management and internal stakeholders for Nashville projects.
  • Represent BMG's core values.
  • Integrate with marketing and streaming colleagues.

What You Bring
  • Digital marketing knowledge and subject matter expertise on social media, audience development, online advertising and digital activations.
  • Music industry campaign and marketing experience.
  • Team leadership and development experience.
  • Department management experience.
  • Partner relationship experience, including pitching and CMS experience.
  • Business acumen, including understanding of budgeting and revenue streams.
  • Experience in and/or deep knowledge of country music.

Pay Range
