Job description

Phantom Fireworks is the industry leader in retail sales of consumer fireworks. We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our Retail Management team. No prior fireworks experience is required—comprehensive training is provided.

This is a seasonal position.

What you’ll do:

  • Open and close the store, ensuring security and proper cash handling
  • Assist the management team with daily store operations
  • Handle cash, deposits, and bank procedures accurately
  • Oversee, lead, and support store staff
  • Assist and address customer concerns professionally
  • Monitor inventory on the sales floor and ensure products are properly stocked
  • Maintain merchandising and store presentation standards
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications: 

  • 2–3 years of retail experience
  • Experience managing staff and cash control procedures
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and seasonal peak hours
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must be able to pass a credit and criminal background check
