Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for a long-term, high-acuity onsite engagement in Indiana. This is a dedicated IR position where you will focus exclusively on complex procedures, supported by a PA who manages minor IR tasks.

Position Overview
  • Start Date: June 1, 2026
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Coverage Type: Onsite Clinic + Night Call
  • Shift Times: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM EST (7 days a week available)
  • Call Requirements: 7 nights per week with callback responsibilities.
Clinical Setting & Workflow
  • Dedicated Infrastructure: The facility features independent IR suites (not shared with Cardiology).
  • Support Staff: An onsite PA handles "light" IR procedures, allowing the physician to focus on high-end IR cases.
  • Case Mix: Exclusively IR procedures. The provider is expected to read diagnostic cases only as time permits and based on personal comfort level.
  • Productivity: Target of 25 RVUs per shift.
  • Tech Stack: RPCE Tech Stack, PowerScribe 4.0.
Candidate Requirements
  • Certification: Board Certified (BC) Only in Radiology with IR sub-specialization.
  • Licensure: Active Indiana (IN) Medical License.
  • Credentialing: 150-day timeline (Temporary Privileges available for candidates with a clean file).
Key Highlights
  • Procedural Focus: Ideal for the IR "purist" who prefers high-end procedural work over heavy diagnostic volume.
  • Autonomous Environment: Benefit from dedicated suites and mid-level support to maximize procedural efficiency.
Long-Term Stability: An ongoing, 7-day-a-week need provides a consistent and high-yield revenue stream for a dedicated locum provider.
