Adecco is hiring! We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Inventory Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a stable, growing manufacturing company.

What You’ll DoShipping & Logistics
  • Process and prepare outbound shipments for high-quality cable assemblies and components
  • Create and manage shipping documents (packing slips, BOLs, certificates, etc.)
  • Coordinate with carriers like UPS, FedEx, and freight partners to ensure on-time delivery
  • Verify packaging, labeling, and routing to meet customer expectations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies
Inventory Control
  • Receive and verify incoming materials with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain precise inventory records within ERP/MRP systems
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories
  • Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies
  • Issue materials to production using work orders and pick lists
  • Keep inventory organized using FIFO, lot control, and traceability best practices
Manufacturing & Quality Support
  • Ensure materials are staged and ready to support production flow
  • Maintain product traceability and follow quality standards (ISO 9001 / AS9100)
  • Identify and properly handle nonconforming materials
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to procedures and documentation
Safety & Organization
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)

What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–3+ years of shipping, receiving, or inventory experience in manufacturing
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with carriers and shipping processes
  • Ability to read work orders, part numbers, and instructions accurately
  • Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, systems)
Bonus Points For
  • Experience in cable, electronics, or manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards
  • Forklift certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Understanding of FIFO, lot control, and traceability
  • Experience with kitting or material staging
Physical & Work Environment

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM (with occasional overtime)

Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
