Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Location: Kalamazoo, MI 49001

PAY RATE $19.00/hr

Tentative work hours 10:30AM – 7:00PM M-F


Job Summary:

The employee would be responsible for verifying shipper confirmations in both POPS (Purchase Orders) and MSS (Manifest Shipment System / Shipment Confirmation) various entry level transactions within AMAPS, and inventory cycle counting and verification.


Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct physical inventory counts, and perform data entry in ERP systems to ensure high inventory accuracy.
  • Supplier Coordination: Liaise with vendors and purchasing teams to expedite deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure materials arrive on schedule.
  • Material Planning: Generate material requirement planning (MRP) reports to forecast raw material needs based on production demands.
  • Receiving and Warehousing: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of incoming goods.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: A high school diploma
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or procurement, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
  • Background in administrative tasks or inventory
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
