Job Purpose: To provide supervisory support to the Inventory Control Department and assist in other

departments as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

x Oversee the daily operations in the Inventory Control department on the

x Ensure that safety rules, production, and sanitation standards are met.

x Cycle Count Program

x Pick location creation (new items) or re-profiling

x Run Inventory reports, (PICK HITS, LOST IN CYCLE COUNT, EXPIRATION MANAGEMENT,

ADJUSTMENTS)

x Process all TO’s (transfer orders) RTV’s (return to vendor) Dispositions (dump and destroy)

x Trouble shoot and problem solving to Root Cause

x PO discrepancy research or any analytical research

x Forklift Operations

x QA (quality assurance) and spot checking for code dates

x Reporting all employees errors and completing incident reports

x Inventory Integrity

x Assist the Control Center

x Assigns duties to employees and schedules break periods, work hours, and vacations. Schedules

and performs periodic evaluations of employees as dictated by the appropriate HR policies.

x Assist other warehouse floor supervisors and associates in warehouse policies, departmental

procedures, and job duties.

x Follow up on customer concerns/complaints, examines discrepancy reports, and resolutions to

restore and promote good public relations with the client.

x Promotes a positive work environment while also being a team builder.

x Work closely with staff to ensure that quality and productivity requirements are

maintained and communicated to each associate.

x Must be flexible and able to work any shift in support of business needs.

Minimum Requirements:

x Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a self-initiator who can implement and

supervise inventory based programs as directed by the Inventory Control Manager.

x High level of computer and WMS system literacy.

x Some college level training is preferred but not necessary so long as there is experience in

warehouse supervision and some experience in the wholesale industry preferred.

Education and/or Experience:

x Some college level management education and/or 2 years warehouse supervising in wholesale

industry

Computer Skills:

x Strong computer skills required; with knowledge in MS Office, Excel and WMS system literacy

Reasoning Ability:

x Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal

communication skills. Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.

Physical Demands:
